BroadWeigh Twistlink Load Cell Shackles: Wireless Load Monitoring for Touring and Production Rigging

The BroadWeigh Twistlink Generation 3 Load Cell Shackle is a 3/4-inch aerospace-grade stainless steel wireless load cell designed for touring productions, installed systems, and any rigging application where knowing the actual load on a point in real time is the difference between a safe rig and an expensive conversation with a structural engineer after the fact. With a 4,750 kg WLL and full conformance to the European Machinery Directive, it is built to the standards that professional rigging demands.

Wireless Load Monitoring Without the Setup Headache

The Generation 3 Twistlink connects directly to existing 3/4-inch shackles without adjusting the pin, nut, or Rclip, making integration into an existing rigging system fast and non-disruptive. A single swipe with the magnetic fob powers the unit on and off, Smart Sleep mode protects battery life during monitoring gaps, and the design is comfortable in even the most challenging RF environments where wireless interference from production systems is a constant concern.

Engineering Details That Matter

The low trim profile and new bow with black surface treatment keep the shackle body compact while leaving more space for larger hook and tackle connections. Holes at 90 degrees minimize torsional forces in the load pin for accurate measurement regardless of orientation, and the aerospace-grade stainless steel construction handles the demands of touring and semi-permanent installation environments without corrosion concerns.
