Portman P1 Mini: Tungsten-Look Decorative LED Fixture
There are LED fixtures that try to look like vintage tungsten sources and mostly just look like LEDs trying. The Portman P1 Mini is not one of those. Seven 3W filament-style LEDs at 1800K sit in a hammered reflector cage and genuinely read as tungsten, with seven 10W RGBW LEDs hidden behind them providing a full-color backglow that shifts the whole character of the fixture. It is decorative lighting that also happens to be a serious production tool.
CRI 90+ across the color range means it renders accurately under camera, and 16-bit dimming means the fade to black is smooth enough to use in any context where that matters.
Two Light Sources, One Fixture
The 1800K filament LEDs are adjustable within a tungsten color temperature range, backed by 10W RGBW LEDs hidden behind them to produce consistent color glow across the full dimming range. Each filament and each glow zone is individually controllable, giving you seven pixels of filament and seven pixels of color to work with independently or together. The high-reflective hammered reflector spreads output across a 94-degree beam angle.
Modern Control in a Vintage-Looking Box
Five DMX modes running 19 to 50 channels via XLR-5, RDM, built-in macros, and W-DMX wireless support. The rear LCD with four tactile buttons features the Portman Color Feedback System, with RGB-backlit indicators for hands-free monitoring. Mount it on any tripod or hang it on any clamp.
Power
True1 power in, 95W max consumption, 110-230V auto-switching. 50,000-hour LED lifetime.
