grandMA3 onPC 8Port Node: Ethernet to DMX Node for grandMA3 onPC Systems
The grandMA3 onPC 8Port Node 4K is a compact 1RU Ethernet-to-DMX conversion node designed to pair with the grandMA3 onPC software platform. It fulfills two core functions in a grandMA3 network: converting Ethernet data to DMX output for fixture control, and adding parameter capacity to the onPC system up to the 4,096 parameter maximum supported by grandMA3 onPC.
Eight DMX Outputs in a 1RU Package
Eight 5-pin XLR DMX outputs on the rear panel provide direct fixture connectivity from a single rack unit. The node handles MA-Net3, MA-Net2, sACN, and Art-Net protocols and is fully RDM compliant, making it compatible with a wide range of professional lighting control ecosystems. A 3.9-inch color display on the front panel provides clear status overview and on-device configuration without requiring a separate interface.
Simple Setup with grandMA3 onPC Software
Getting started requires only downloading the grandMA3 onPC software and connecting the 8Port Node via etherCON. Node configuration is managed entirely through the grandMA3 onPC software, keeping the setup process consistent with the broader MA workflow. The result is a compact, affordable control system that delivers the same software feature set as the larger grandMA3 consoles without the hardware footprint.
PoE and Installation-Friendly Design
The 8Port Node is also available in a PoE (Power over Ethernet) variant, reducing cabling requirements for permanent installations. At 2kg and packaged in a standard 19-inch 1RU enclosure, it integrates cleanly into touring racks and installed equipment rooms alike.
