Elation KL Panel: Full-Spectrum 6-in-1 LED Soft Light for Film, Television, and Live Events
The Elation KL Panel is a compact, self-contained full-spectrum LED soft light panel delivering up to 24,000 lumens from a 6-in-1 RGBWLC LED array with a 50,000-hour average LED life. Sharing the same color engine and control architecture as the KL Panel XL IP, it offers the same precise color accuracy and broadcast-ready performance in a lighter, more portable package suited to locations where the larger XL IP would be impractical.
Full-Spectrum Color with Precise Control
The 6-in-1 array spanning red, green, blue, white, lime, and cyan delivers accurate full-spectrum color rendering across a 2,000K to 10,000K CCT range with Green-Magenta shift adjustment and a Virtual Gel Library for precise, repeatable color matching. Variable 16-bit dimming curves, high-speed electronic shutter and strobe, and remote-adjustable LED refresh rate from 900 to 25,000Hz make it suitable for camera-critical film and broadcast applications.
Self-Contained and Battery Compatible
The KL Panel runs entirely on its integrated 4-pin XLR 24-36V DC battery input, eliminating the need for an external power supply and making it genuinely portable for location shoots and remote production positions. It also accepts standard AC power via its 100-240V input at 295W maximum draw. The fixture mounts on any standard clamp or the included Junior Pin adapter, and optional DoPChoice SnapBag and SnapGrid accessories are available for additional light shaping.
Professional Control and Connectivity
Nine DMX channel modes, three manual adjustment encoders, a 4-button control panel, and OLED menu display provide direct control over all key parameters. Elation’s E-FLY wireless system is integrated for cable-free operation. Connections include locking 5-pin XLR in/out and locking IP65 True1 power in/out.
