The Elation KL Panel XL IP is a professional IP65-rated full-spectrum LED soft light panel delivering up to 40,000 lumens from a 6-in-1 RGBWLC LED array with a 50,000-hour average LED life. Designed for the demanding color accuracy requirements of film and television production, it combines high output with precise color temperature control across a wide 2,000K to 10,000K CCT range, making it equally capable as a key light, fill light, or background wash in both controlled studio environments and outdoor production settings.
Full-Spectrum Color with Extensive Control
The 6-in-1 array spanning red, green, blue, white, lime, and cyan enables accurate full-spectrum color rendering across the entire output range. Variable CCT from 2,000K to 10,000K covers everything from warm tungsten matching to cool daylight balance, while Green-Magenta shift adjustment and a Virtual Gel Library provide the fine-tuning tools that cinematographers and lighting directors need for consistent, repeatable results. The optional 4×2 section control adds individual zone control for creative effects and gradient looks across the panel face.
Professional Control and Connectivity
Thirteen DMX channel modes from 1 to 96 channels support everything from simple single-channel operation to full granular per-zone control. DMX, RDM, Art-Net, and sACN protocol support covers all standard professional control systems, and the integration of Elation’s E-FLY wireless system adds cable-free control flexibility for locations where running DMX is impractical. Three manual adjustment encoders, a 4-button control panel, and OLED menu display provide direct on-fixture access to intensity, color temperature, green shift, and other key parameters without requiring a console.
IP65-Rated for Indoor and Outdoor Production
Full IP65 certification via locking 5-pin XLR, 3-pin XLR, and True1 power connections keeps the KL Panel XL IP sealed for outdoor production use. The impact-resistant housing with rugged base plate mounts on any standard clamp or the included Junior Pin adapter. A high-speed electronic shutter and strobe, remote-adjustable LED refresh rate from 900 to 25,000Hz, and 16-bit dimming curves round out the feature set for camera-critical applications.
