Elation KL Fresnel 8 FC: The Fresnel That Traded the Lamp for a Full Color Engine

The Elation KL Fresnel 8 FC looks like a traditional Fresnel and behaves like one, but under the barn doors is a 5-in-1 RGBMA LED engine with CMY emulation, variable CCT from 2400 to 6500K, green/magenta shift, and a Virtual Gel Swatch Book. For productions that need a Fresnel that pulls double duty as a color fixture without adding a separate unit to the rig, that’s the whole argument in one sentence.

Color That Holds Up

CRI 94.5 and TLCI 94 mean the color rendering holds up under camera scrutiny, not just to the naked eye. Variable CCT with green/magenta shift gives your LD the fine-tuning tools that broadcast and film workflows actually require. CMY emulation keeps the language familiar for designers coming from conventional rigs.

Motorized Zoom and Precise Control

A motorized zoom covering 10 to 50 degrees handles field adjustments from the console without sending someone up a ladder. Six DMX channel modes covering 1 to 18 channels, dual rotary dials, 4-button control panel, LED display, and RDM support round out a control package that works in any production environment. True1 power in/out for daisy-chaining, 3/5-pin DMX for data.
