Chauvet Ovation GR-1 IP: Add a Gobo Rotator to Any ERS Without Opening the Fixture
The Chauvet Ovation GR-1 IP is an IP65-rated gobo rotator designed to mount on the yoke of any ERS-style fixture and operate independently via DMX. It takes a single 9-size gobo in metal, glass, or effect, and runs CW or CCW rotation, indexing, and infinite rotation across a speed range of 0.047 to 21 RPM. A stepper motor keeps movement smooth and stutter-free across the full range.
How It Works
The GR-1 IP runs on 24VDC delivered through the included Ovation GR-1 Adapter, a lightweight power and data interface that mounts to the yoke of any ERS and connects to your rig via PowerCon and 5-pin XLR. The adapter handles the voltage conversion and DMX pass-through, so the rotator gets dedicated power and control without tapping into the fixture itself. One DMX channel handles everything.
Compatible Fixtures in R90’s Inventory
The GR-1 IP works with any ERS-style fixture, including the Chauvet Ovation E-910FC and Chauvet Ovation E-260WW available in R90’s rental inventory.
What to Know When Booking
The GR-1 Adapter is required for operation and is included with the rental. Gobos are not included. Specify your gobo size 9 selection when requesting a quote.
