ChamSys MQ80: Mid-Size MagicQ Console for Touring and Installations
The MQ80 sits between the compact MQ50 and the full stadium-scale MQ500M in R90’s ChamSys lineup. It’s the desk for productions that have outgrown a compact console but don’t need the MQ500M’s full playback surface. Serious output capability in a package that still fits in checked luggage: 24 universes, 13 faders, 8 encoders, a 12-inch 1280×800 internal display, and 4 direct DMX ports with RDM support. The inbuilt 4-port Ethernet switch is protected by the UPS, so the network stays up even if power drops. Durable metal Neutrik locking connectors throughout. Need additional faders and flash buttons on the surface? Add the ChamSys MagicQ Compact Wing.
Same software and show files as every other MagicQ product. Files from the MQ50 and the MQ500M open directly. Connect to MagicVis for 3D visualization or MagicHD for up to 8 layers of HD media playback, both free.
24 universes, 12,288 channels, 5,000 cues, 2,000 cue stacks, 4,096 palettes. 50-layer media server support. External monitor via HDMI up to 1920×1200. LTC input, MIDI in/out, 6 USB ports, audio input.
