Antari S-500 Snow Machine: Large-Capacity Silent Snow for Stage and Truss
The Antari S-500 is a professional snow machine built around a simple premise: move a lot of fluid quietly, from wherever you need it. The 5.2-gallon tank and 32.8-foot air hose let you park the machine offstage or fly it on a truss while the nozzle goes exactly where the effect needs to be. At 66 dB full on at one meter, it runs quietly enough for theatrical environments where ambient noise is a real concern.
Built for Production Workflow
The S-500 ships in a road case with wheels, and the case is designed with a small access door so the air hose passes through while the lid stays closed during silent operation. That kind of detail matters on shows where the machine needs to be stowed out of sight without interrupting the effect. At 82 lbs it takes two people to move, but the wheels help once it’s on the ground.
Output and Control
At 400 ml/min output with adjustable wind volume and flow rates, the S-500 gives you real control over snow density and throw distance rather than just on/off triggering. Two DMX channel modes covering 1 and 2-channel configurations handle console integration via 3-pin and 5-pin XLR, and the unit powers via PowerCon.
